MSW offer flexible services to meet your exact requirements. We provide full system design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning.
Systems can be designed to fully integrate with our customers equipment. We custom write our production or control software for individual clients. Our software is designed on Mitsubishi, Siemens and Allan Bradley PLC's, with PC SCADA displays. We are also able to offer HMI programming for smaller systems.
Installations
Some of the installation work undertake in the past 12 months include.

We are happy to utilise your existing engineering staff to reduce installation costs if required.

Design
MSW use the latest design software from AutoCAD™ to produce detailed drawings. Our electrical drawings are also electronically drawn. Unlike many other companies when you buy a system from ourselves you will receive a full set of printed electrical drawings along with a User / Operators manual. The electrical drawings are yours to alter without fear of copyright issues.
Murphy Stanko and Waterhouse Ltd also offer a design only service where we will design a system for you to fabricate and install. We are also happy to work alongside your engineers during the design of your system.
Plant Inspection and Maintenance
Murphy Stanko & Waterhouse Ltd (MSW) can now offer a plant inspection service. Engineers provide inspections at a frequency to suit your needs. Once completed we will provide comprehensive reports and suggestions on planned or preventative maintenance.
We aim to work with your maintenance engineers to keep your plant running as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
MSW is able to offer a full calibration service with UCAS certified weights if required. We produce our own detailed calibration certificates and calibration reports.
MSW calibrate weighers from small platform scales to large batch weighers. We have also used ultrasonic level probes to calculate the weight in 60 tonne silos.
We specialise in weighers of capacities of up to 2 tonnes, we will however be happy to calibration larger weighers upon request.
Most types of load cells, amplifiers are supported including, Mettler Toledo, Applied Weighing, Thames-Side.
Training
More recently we have been asked to provide onsite training in PLC programming and simple fault diagnosis.
Simple onsite fault diagnosis by trained staff keeps your equipment running without the need for our engineers to visit site. Often a quick phone call can sort out breakdowns or system faults.
MSW are now offering full PLC,PC and HMI backup solutions. Many companies have a large amount of data either in the form of PLC code, HMI interfaces or PC date. All these devices are generally reliable, however they do fail. This may result in total loss for your control software.
Murphy, Stanko & Waterhouse Ltd offer a service whereby we list all your data holding devices, and offer a backup solution. We can also offer you the opportunity to have all this data stored on your premises an a laptop designed specifically to restore data in the event of a failure. In this was down time is reduced to a minimum. Customers may be talked through the restoration of their data or programs with one of our engineers.
