- Berwin Polymers Processing Group - Bagging Line
We have recently installed a new powder bagging line.
MSW developed a semi automatic bagging station based on a FIBC big bag station. The material was known to cause problems when trying to heat seal low melt bags.
MSW designers were able to overcome this with the introduction of anti-static blowers, and a newly designed powder chute which reduced powder / bag contact.
- Berwin Polymers Processing Group - Mixer Installation
MSW have been involved in the installation of a new production line. The line is based on a Krupp mixer, dump and take-off mill complete with a new batch off system. Murphy, Stanko and Waterhouse Ltd provided the custom production software for the recipe handling along with control software for the mixer. New wiring schematics and plant layouts were drawn by MSW and allowed the installation to be carried out quickly and efficiently. New feeders and oil weighers have been added to the line and are again controlled by MSW production software.
MSW were involved in the design, installation and commissioning of this project in conjunction with Berwin Polymers Processing Groups' own engineers.
- Berwin Polymers Processing Group - Pneumatic Transfer Line
Murphy, Stanko and Waterhouse have designed and installed a new dense phase blowing line for Berwin Polymers Processing Group. The new line will replace 3 manually filled RIBC stations with 3 day bins incorporating reverse jet filters. The new system will greatly reduce man hours and provide a cleaner more efficient plant.
